Our company held the ceremony on delivery of the largest pumped storage ball valve in domestic at Heavy Machinery Plant at 9:00am on January 5th, 2012,  Leaders of the Company, Liu Kejian, Director of the United Front Work Department of  Jianxi District Party Committee, and leaders from CPI Group, DEC, China Valve Technology Co., Ltd., Harbin Electric Corporation, etc. attended the ceremony.
The largest pumped storage ball valve is the key project contract of the State Grid cooperated signed by our company, the is planned to be used in Xianyou Pumped Storage Power Station in Fujian Province. The ball valve is 4.5m in diameter and 2.3m in outlet diameter and the weight is 120t. The set of equipment from casting, handle welding, weld flaw detection, thermal treatment to processing, assembly and test equipment is the advanced level of China's hydropower equipment manufacturing industry. The production of pumped storage ball valve has created three of the most difficult tasks for domestic ball valve, such as weight, volume and manufacture difficulty, realized the localization of large hydropower ball valve and replaced the imported product.
