CIC Mill Liner Factory has strong castings, heat treatment and machining ability, strict quality and process controlled methods as well as the perfect examination and experimental methods, so that wear-resistant products provided by CIC enjoy high reputation in China and overseas.
CIC MIll Liner Factory has 5 tons electric furnaces for smelting, a whole set of VRH molding line with several advanced technologies in the casting field.2x5m2 automatic controlling gas heat-treatment furnace, 1.5x4m2 gas heat-treatment furnace, 2x5m2 gas hot air furnace for tempering, 1.3x1.6m2 medium-temperature electric heating furnace, 350 tons water quenching pool, 50 tons FEROQUENCH-2000 quenching cooling system. All the production procedures of mill liner including the molding, smelting, casting, shaking out, heat treatment, cleaning and quality inspection can be done in CIC Mill Liner Factory. CIC Mill Liner Factory also has DF-100 direct-reading spectrometer. MLD-10 dynamic-load abrasion testers etc, which can inspect the physical and chemical properties and abrasion resistance index of wear-resistant material. The annual output of the foundry is about 8000 tons.
In order to supply high quality products and better service to customer, CIC’s foundry has mature quality management and testing system. We take five steps to guarantee the quality of liquid steel: submitting inspection of the steel smelting workers, taking inspection results by labratory technician, joint inspection by Calibrating and Measuring Center of CITIC. The technology of argon injection liquid steel purification can improve the quality of liquid steel greatly. The VRH production technology during the casting procedure can get rid of water of sand mould to ensure the product quality and improve the dimensional accuracy and surface quality of product.
For the heat treatment procedure, automatic controlling temperature in 4 points gas heat-treatment furnace and hot air circulation tempering furnace supply good thermal status, the furnace temperature can be controlled within the ±10℃ range, which can ensure the uniform heating and controllable heating temperature.
We choose FEROQUENCH-2000 quenching medium as the cooling medium, the water-based quenching liquid can overcome the bad effects to the quenching quality caused by the traditional quenching oil.All these procedures promise the high quality of our products.
