GPY Series Filter
GPY serials disc filter is mainly used for the dehydration of fine granular materials such as fine coal（0—0.5mm） and tail coal, and can also be used for solid-liquid separation in metallurgy, chemical, petroleum and wastewater treatment.
Working principle:
With the help of vacuum pump to form the pressure difference, the filter cake is formed on the filter cloth and the liquid phase is discharged through the filter cake and the filter cloth to achieve the solid-liquid separation, the filter cake enters the dry area, takes off most of the water, and then enters the blow-down area. The part of filter cake on the plate is blown off by the compressed air from the blower, the rest of the filter cake is discharged by scraper, a cycle is complete.

Main features:
1. The structure of transmission device is compact, reliable work and stepless speed regulation.
2. Equipped with a finite matrix coupler, overload protection can ensure the safe and reliable operation of the main device.
3. The center shaft is welded structure with light weight, good rigidity, high strength and large filtrate discharge.
4. New star-point style plastic sector disc adopted, with advantage of light weight, high strength, good hydrophobicity, high open-cell rate, good effect of dehydration and cake discharge, low moisture content of filter cake, long service life, corrosion resistance and convenient installation and mend.
5. Filter cloth is knitted by stainless steel wire, filter effect is good, moisture of filter cake is low, the filter cake rate is high and the service life is long.
6. Use the paddle agitator to float the stuffing box, allow the agitator shaft to have a certain amount of floating, the sealing effect is good, the sealing element replacement is convenient.
7. The instantaneous blower and the suspension type scraper discharge device are used, not only the unloading rate is high, but also the scraper can swing with the filter disc, the force of the filter disc is good, reducing the load of the main device.
8. In addition to the advantages above mentioned, the GPY20-120 series device have others：size of the foundation and the size of the feed outlet are designed according to PG product, which is convenient for the re-engineering of the old plant and the update of the equipment.
